Medical Transfer Attendants deserve to be included in Ontario pandemic pay increase for front-line workers </p> <p>The $4 wage top-up excludes Medical Transport Attendants.</p> <p>We are committed to the safety of our patients and the community.<br /> Medical Transfer Attendants are responsible for the safe transport of non-emergency patients via stretcher and wheelchair to and from a hospital, healthcare facility, nursing home or residence.</p> <p>Our IAM Union members are working on the frontline, they continue to do their workday in and day out, tirelessly dealing with risk and exposure.<br /> We call on the Ontario Government to immediately:<br /> • Expand this additional pay to include medical transfer attendants</p> <p>Add your name to demand a wage top-up for all Medical Transfer Attendants
