Members at Sisley Honda Local 235 ratified a new agreement. Highlights include annual wage increases, increases to the IAM defined benefit pension plan, increases to technician training bonus, improved scheduling and hours of rest between shifts and a reduced sunset clause on discipline.

The 55 members include mechanics, service technicians, service advisors, service cashier/hostess, detailers, carwash/valet, lube technicians and custodians.

The IAM represents more than 1500 members employed in the automotive sector across Canada, including Vancouver Island, the lower mainland of British Columbia, Edmonton, Calgary, Fort Frances, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Toronto, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador.
