This week, IAM and other Union delegates are attending the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) convention in Toronto.
The convention provides a unique opportunity for delegates to discuss, debate, and decide the direction of Ontario’s labour movement for the next two years.
Monday, November 25, 2019, was especially important to the IAM, as one of five awards to honour retired or deceased labour activists were presented.
Sara Mitchell, (pictured far right) was on hand to receive an award for her late father, brother Paul Mitchell, past Directing Business Representative for IAM District 78.
Sara is taking after her father, as she is a full time representative for SEIU Union.
We won’t forget you brother.
