The Regional Representatives of PIPSC recently joined the IAM.
The 35 staff work for the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) in provinces across Canada.
The new members have been granted a new charter and will be known as PIREC Local 907.
IAM Organizer Scott Jackson stated, “our newest members did their due diligence and looked far and wide for a good fit and finally chose the IAM as the union to represent them.”
This week their negotiations committee is at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Centre with Grand Lodge Representative Ralph Martin, preparing for negotiations with their employer.
