On January 9, 2020, IAM District Lodge 78 held its first General Meeting of the new year. The meeting was well attended and provided local delegates with a valuable opportunity to share and connect.
Discussion and motions at the meeting included:
- Sending members to the CLC Lobby in Ottawa (February 24-25, 2020).
- Member engagement in the community, including recent holiday drives, charitable initiatives, and the amazing work of our local women’s committees.
- Workplace reports from local delegates.
- Monthly review of District financials.
In 2020, our District is more than ready to continue to defend workers’ rights and grow our service to the community.
2020 is the #YearOfTheUnion!
