IAM District 78 Grows
The 15 employees of Trojan Tire in Burlington recently voted to join the IAM.
Our newest members manufacture and service a soft cell inserted into large tires which are used in mining, waste management, and other sectors all over the world. This soft cell prevents the tire from going flat if punctured.
“These workers wanted job security and knew the IAM could provide it,” says IAM Grand Lodge Representative Ralph Martin as to why they voted to unionize with IAM.
