IAM Local Lodge 1295 members employed at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre (UCCC) ratified a new three year agreement.

Our members made gains in wages along with improvements to benefits and contract language.

Special thanks to the negotiating committee (photographed above, with a couple of members who attended the ratification vote).

“The committee worked tirelessly to make sure the employer understood, and worked to resolve the issues in their workplace”, said IAM District Lodge 78 Directing Business Representative Kim Valliere.

The UCCC is an ethno-specific long-term care home located in Toronto.
