June 4, 2023 – June 9, 2023, sister Karen Santer and Jin Kunstek attended the IAM Leadership I program, which held in William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland, and both obtained the Certificate of Achievement.
I’m thrilled that the LL1922 selected me for the Leadership I program.
The lecturers were outstanding, they were incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and experienced, they made learning really effective and enjoyable.
Through the following topics: Labour History, Parliamentary Procedure & Lodge Administration, Structure & Services of the IAM, Government & Politics, Role of the Steward, and Human Rights, I learnt the principles of trade unionism as well as the fundamental rules and procedures of the IAM.
I will share the inspiration, passion and experience I obtained with the local members and serve them better.
