On July 23, 2019, IAM District 78 President Mike Edwards thanked Ontario NDP MPP Wayne Gates (Niagara Falls) for his work in protecting Niagara region jobs.
The two met at the Prince of Wales Stakes at the Fort Erie Race Track.
