IAM Local Lodge 1922 members at Union Savings ratified their first agreement earlier this week.
In addition to wage adjustments and annual increases, among many other achievements, a top up for pregnancy and parental leave was negotiated.
“It’s a solid first agreement, achieved by these members commitment to getting a good deal,” said IAM Organizer Scott Jackson.
IAM District Lodge 78 looks forward to our newest members fully participating in the IAM.
IAM Local Lodge 1922 members at Union Savings are located in Toronto and Montreal. Union Savings is Canada’s only not-for-profit, union run, members’ benefit program.
