A new collective Bargaining Agreement was ratified on October 26, 2023 by members of LL1922 working at Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga Division.
This was after tough bargaining earlier in October, proficently guided by, District 78 Business Representative, Eric Johnston. The highlight of the agreement is, three (3), twelve (12) monthly increases in wages; October 2023 – 4%, October 2024 – 3% and October 2025 – 2%.
Thanks is offered to the negotiation committee of Kelly Shannon, Guillermo Suyat, Christopher Barrett and Jin Kunstek for their hard work. They championed the priorities of the bargaining unit’s membership in hammering out this deal.
