The photo of the Sisters from L1922 has been published in NovaRise, the official magazine of Women in Aerospace Canada, in recognition of the valuable contributions women make to Canada’s aerospace industry.
Founded in 2009, Women in Aerospace Canada (WIA-Canada) was established through the vision of a coalition of Canadian aerospace leaders who recognized the need for a strong and inclusive network to advance and support women in the industry.
Built on the principles of collaboration, partnership, and purpose, WIA-Canada brings together professionals at every stage of their careers—from students to executives—across engineering, operations, business, academia, and many other fields.
